High frequency transformers

A high-frequency transformer is an electrical device designed to operate at frequencies significantly higher than the standard power grid frequency (50/60 Hz), typically ranging from 10 kHz to over 1 MHz. By operating at these elevated speeds, they achieve much higher power density, allowing them to be up to 10–20 times smaller than traditional transformers for the same power rating.

Core Benefits

Compact Size & Low Weight: High-speed switching requires less magnetic flux per cycle, enabling the use of smaller cores and fewer wire turns.

Enhanced Efficiency: Modern designs can achieve energy efficiency exceeding 95%, significantly reducing energy loss compared to traditional models.

Reduced Material Costs: Smaller designs require less copper and core material, which can lower manufacturing and transportation costs.

Improved Response: They respond faster to changes in load and voltage, providing stable power for sensitive digital electronics
